The area where students used to line up on the ground floor (remember all those brown bricks and the two basketball goals, male & female laboratories, the fences around the windows etc. The area was made into classrooms. Only the area around
the chute remains. The incinerator door has be sealed shut as there is no more incinerator

PS116-CRuppmann "plays the chimney" Many hours of punchball were played in the original PS116 school yard. You had to be pretty good to play the caroms off the chimney.
